لقد أسلمت حديثًا وأخبرني الكثيرون أن أبتعد عن الوهابيين فمن هم؟ وما هي دعوتهم؟.

الحمد لله
الواجب على المسلم اتباع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، على منهج السلف الصالح الذين ساروا على هدي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، من الصحابة ومن تبعهم رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين ، وهؤلاء يسمون بأهل السنة والجماعة ، وكل من سار على الطريق الذي جاء به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فهو منهم ، والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إنما جاء بالتوحيد ، ونبذ الشرك ، والدعوة إلى عبادة الله وحده دون سواه ، أما كلمة الوهابيين ، فيطلقها عدد من الناس على دعوة الشيخ الإمام محمد بن عبد الوهاب بن سليمان التَّمِيمي الحنبلي رحمه الله ، ويسمونه وأتباعه الوهَّابيين ، وقّدْ علم كلّ من له أدنى بصيرةٍ بحركة الشِّيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب رحمه الله ، ودعوته أنَّه قام بِنَشْر دعوة التوحيد الخالص ، والتَّحْذِير من الشرك ، بسائر أنواعه ، كالتَّعلُّقِ بالأموات ، والأشجار والأحجار ونحو ذلك ، وهو رحمه الله في العقيدة على مذهب السلف الصالح والتابعين ، كما تدلُّ على ذلك كتبه وفتاواه ، وكتب أتباعه من أبنائه وأحفاده وغيرهم ، وقد طبعت كلها وانتشرت بين الناس ، وكانت دعوته وِفْقَ كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، والوهابية ليست طريقة أو مذهبًا ، وإنما كانت دعوة للتوحيد ، وتجديد ما اندثر من معالم الدين ، والواجب عليك أيها السائل أن تحذر من الذين حذَّروك منهم لأنهم يحذرونك من اتِّباع الحق وسلف الأمة ، وإطلاق كلمة الوهابيين على من تمسك بالعقيدة الصحيحة ، والتحذير منهم إنما هي طريق الجاهلين والمغرضين ، نسأل الله العافية .

i have recently come to islam and people have told me to stay away from wahabis, who are they and wht do they preech?

Praise be to Allaah.

It is obligatory upon the Muslim to follow the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), according to the way of the righteous salaf who followed the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the Sahaabah and those who followed them – may Allaah be pleased with them all. These people are called Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community). Everyone who follows the way brought by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is one of them. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) brought the message of Tawheed (absolute Oneness of Allaah) and rejection of shirk (polytheism, or association of others with Allaah); he called people to worship Allaah alone and none other. With regard to the word “Wahhaabis”, some people use this word to refer to the message of Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhaab ibn Sulaymaan al-Tameemi al-Hanbali (may Allaah have mercy on him), and they call him and his followers Wahhaabis. Everyone who has any knowledge of the movement of Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhaab (may Allaah have mercy on him) and his message knows that he sought to spread the message of pure Tawheed and to warn against shirk in all its forms, such as attachment to the dead, or to trees and rocks, etc. In his ‘aqeedah (belief), he was following the way of the righteous Salaf and the Taabi’een [i.e., the earliest generations of Islam], as is indicated by his books and fatwas, and the books of his followers among his sons and grandsons and others. All of these books are in print and are in circulation among the people. His message was in accordance with the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Wahhaabism is not a new way or a new school of thought; rather it is a call to Tawheed and the revival of aspects of the religion that had been forgotten. What you have to do is to beware of those who warn you against the Wahhaabis, because they are warning you against following the truth and the early generation of this ummah. Applying the word “Wahhaabis” to those who adhere to correct belief and warning people against them is the way of the ignorant and biased. We ask Allaah to keep you safe and sound.

Je me suis converti récemment et beaucoup de gens m’ont conseillé de me méfier des Wahhabites.. Qui sont-ils ? Quel est leur appel ?


Louange à Allah
Le devoir du musulman est de suivre le Messager d’Allah (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) et de se conformer à la pratique des ancêtres pieux qui avaient perpétué les enseignements du Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) notamment les Compagnons et leurs successeurs (puisse Allah les agréer tous). Ceux-là sont appelés la Communauté des partisans de la Sunna. Tout musulman qui suit la voie tracée par le Messager d’Allah (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) en fait partie. Le Messager (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) a apporté la foi au tawhid, le rejet du shirk et l’appel à l’adoration d’Allah seul sans associé.
Quant à l’appellation wahhabites certains l’utilisent pour parler de l’appel de l’imam Cheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab ibn Soulayman at-Tamimi al-Hanbali (Puisse Allah lui accorder Sa miséricorde). Ils appellent ses partisans et lui-même les wahhabites .
Celui qui est doué de la moindre clairvoyance sait que le mouvement de Cheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (Puisse Allah lui accorder Sa miséricorde) et son appel ont visé la propagation de la foi pure en l’unicité divine et la mise en garde contre le polythéisme sous toutes ses formes tels que le culte des morts, le culte des arbres, celui de la prière, etc.
Le cheikh (puisse Allah lui accorder Sa miséricorde) a adopté la conception que les ancêtres pieux et leurs successeurs s’étaient faite du dogme. Ce qui s’atteste dans ses propres livres et avis, comme dans les livres de ses enfants et petits enfants et d’autres. Livres qui sont tous édités et diffusés. Son appel était conforme au livre d’Allah et à la Sunna de Son Messager (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui). Le wahhabisme n’est ni une confrérie ni une doctrine. C’est un simple appel au tawhid, à la rénovation de pratiques religieuses tombées en désuétude. Votre devoir, ô auteur de la question, est de vous méfier de ceux qui vous ont mis en garde contre les wahhabites car ils n’ont fait que vous mettre en garde contre l’adoption de la vérité et la conduite des ancêtres pieux.
L’application du nom wahhabites à ceux qui se conforment à la foi authentique et la mise en garde contre eux sont la conduite des ignorants prompts au chantage. Nous demandons à Allah le salut.
