Wrong Concepts..
Let's beware of wrong concepts which may harm Faith like:
1- Some people believe that the matter is in their hearts, and they do not care about the obvious.
The right thing is that there is a connection between what is obvious and what is hidden.
Sheikh Al Albani said that Abu Tha'laba said :
"If we were to travel with the Prophet, peace be upon him, we were divided in valleys and reefs, then once we traveled with the Prophet and we were separated, as we always did, but the prophet told us that our separation was the work of Satan." Abu Tha'labah said, "After that when we traveled, we were gathered that if we sat on a rug, it fit us".
In this Hadith, the prophet cared to gather his companions, and warned them from separation even in their traveling in valleys and reefs, and his companions responded to his instructions, and they were not separated from one another, and they joined one another that if they sat on a carpet it fit them although they are many.
In traveling the prophet refused their separation, what about the separation among scholars in their scientific meetings, sure it is the work of Satan. We remind you, as you are responsible of teaching the Ummah the Quraan and Sunnah, to gather people in the same meeting and make them unseparated.
Gathering bodies has the effect of bringing hearts together and reforming them, as in the prophet's Hadith:
" الحلال بين وإن الحرام بين وبينهما أمور متشابهات لا يعلمهن كثيرًا من الناس، فمن اتقى الشبهات فقد استبرأ لدينه وعرضه، ألا وإن لكل ملك حمى ... يوشك أن يقع فيه، ألا وإن في الجسد مضغة إذا صلحت صلح الجسد كله وإذا فسدت فسد الجسد كله ألا وهي القلب"
I heard the prophet say: "What is lawful is clear and what is unlawful is clear, but between them are certain doubtful things. I give you an example for this. Allah has a preserve, and Allah's preserve is the things He has declared unlawful. He who pastures (his animals) round the preserve will soon fall into it. He who falls into doubtful things will soon be courageous"..Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart."
This Hadith proves that there is a connection between what is obvious (the outside) and what is hidden (the inside), if the heart is good, then the whole body is good and if it is spoilt, then the whole body is spoilt..
We take on a very important principle that is overlooked by many modern Muslims today, who have received nothing from the legitimate science, but are legitimized by their minds and passions.
If we tell them, "Why you don't pray," for example, he says, "It is not prayer, but goodness of the inside, and he ignores the fact, that if his own heart is good, then his deeds will be good also and vice versa.
Every Muslim, therefore, should be concerned with the reform of his appearance and should not be fooled by the fact that it is a matter of what is in his heart, for this is not only what is said by scholars and jurists, but that is what this Hadith shows, and Abu Tha'labah's Hadith, in which the prophet ordered them to gather even if they were in a vast desert, because gathering of bodies gathers also hearts..
Remember what I told you, while standing in rows for Al Zuhr prayer, I told you what the prophet said:
"لتسون الصفوف أو ليخالفن الله بين الوجوه".
"Straighten your rows or Allah will alter your faces."
Straightening rows is an obvious thing, which if was not made, Allah will alter the hearts.
A Muslim person should not underestimate the importance of repairing his appearance on the grounds that his inner self is good, since he is first lying to himself as well as to others.
It is therefore not polite in Islam for students of science to sit as they wish apart from each other. They need to join..Once the prophet entered the Masjid and found people separated from each other he told them:
"مالي أراكم عزين، مالي أراكم عزين "؛ أي: متفرقين.
"How is it that I see you in separate groups?"
So we have to remember this moral in learning, whether the learning is received in a way that scientists have done today, which is to receive and answer questions, or in an ancient way that was, and still is, a way of teaching people; in which the Sheikh sits with his students and read for them books of Tafsir, Hadith, Fikh from Quraan and Sunnah. Or it could be also that someone reads and the Sheikh makes comments and explains difficult things.
I wanted to remind you of this so that we could answer the gathered questions as Allah facilitates to us …
