Umrah Rituals..
There are three pillars for Umrah..Ihram, Tawaf and Sa'i.

The duties of Umrah is performing Ihram, shaving or shortening hair, any other thing is sunnah.

The Umrah step by step…
The one who wants to make Umrah, reaches the Miqat, then he washes, wears Ihram clothes, if he travels by plane, he could wear his Ihram clothes at home, in the airport or in the plane, before reaching his Miqat .

Washing and putting perfume for men. Anyone needs to perform Umrah, it is a sunna to wash, this is for both men and women, even the menstruating woman, and the woman that has just given birth to a child. Putting perfume is for men only,"oud" or anything else, and if the perfume remained after Ihram, there's no problem.

Wearing Ihram clothes, men wear "Rida'a" on the higher part of their bodies and "Izar" on their lower part, they wear sandals, or anything under the heel, like shoes even if these shoes are sewed and also even if they were detailed on the foot below the heels. They are not allowed to wear anything on their heads, there is nothing wrong with carrying luggages over their heads and putting the bag on their shoulders. And sunglasses, and sunshades.. There is nothing in the belt for the safekeeping of cash; this is not a cloak or a cover for the body, but for the safekeeping of belongings..It is permissible for men If the Rida'a was been lengthened or enlarged or sewed when it is cut.
As for women, they don't have special clothes for Ihram, but they have to stick to the eight terms of Hijab, they are not allowed to wear sewed things on their faces, they should cover their faces and hands with anything but gloves or niqab.

Praying, if it is time of Farida, he prays, and if not, he prays two caused rak'at and intend Ihram after them, there is no special rak'at for Ihram.

Intend Ihram and then performs Al Talbiah.. Ihram means his intention to perform Umrah.

"Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner".
It is preferable to raise his voice with it and to be heard by those around him in order to manifest the rites of God and to proclaim monotheism.

The prophet was asked which Hajj is the best, he answered that is the Hajj in which the Talbiyah is high, and also in which there is Hadi. Sahih Atermizi.
The Talbiyah begins from intending the Ihram till the beginning of Tawaf.

Tawaf.. On reaching the Holy mosque, one should enter with his right feet, and recite doaa (supplication) for entering mosques.

"May peace be upon prophet Mohammed, O Allah please open to me the doors of your mercy. "

"I take the refuge of Allah, the Supreme, and with his noble face, and his eternal authority, from the accursed devil."
Corrected by Al Albani.

One should feel the greatness of Allah, and should be grateful to Allah for making it easy to enter the Holy mosque, one should feel fear and submissiveness and exaltation.. One should be in ablution. One begins his Umrah by Tawaf, He touches the black stone with his right hand and kisses it, if he can, but he does not believe that it (black stone) is good or bad for him, he makes this to follow the prophet, peace be upon him, if he couldn't kiss the black stone, he touches it with his hands and then kiss his hand, if he couldn't also, he touches it with something, and kiss this thing, or he can point at it and doesn't kiss his hand, he must not go in the crowd. When he touches the black stone he says,"Bism Allah, Allaho Akbar", "in the name of Allah, Allah is the great"...He moves making the Ka'ba by his left hand, if he reaches "Al Rokn Al Yamani", he touches it if he could without kissing or pointing at it and without going in the crowd. Here he says:
"Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good,
and save us from the torment of the Fire
He only touches the black stone and the Rokn Al Yamani, like what the prophet did.

The sunna in Tawaf, for men, is "Al Idteba' " which is revealing the right shoulder, placing the center of his Rida'a under his armpit and the two ends on his left shoulder. He makes this from the beginning of Tawaf till its end, then he makes his Rida'a normal. Also it is sunna to perform "Al Raml", which is speeding up the walk, while approaching steps, only in the first three rounds, then the rest for rounds are normal. Al Raml and Al Idteba' are for the Umrah Tawaf, and for Tawaf Al Qodum (Arrival Tawaf) for the Ifraad and the Qiran; it is for the first Tawaf which is done when one enters Mecca.. Fatawa Bin Baz.

The Tawaf is seven rounds, begins and ends with the black stone. It is not right to perform Tawaf inside the Hijr..After the Tawaf, one goes to Maqam Ibrabim, and recites:

"And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer." Then he prays two rak'at behind Maqam Ibrabim, near it if possible, or away from it..He recites "Al Fatiha" in the first rak'a and surat Al "Kaferoon", and in the second rak'a he recites "Al Fatiha" and surat "Al Ikhlas". Then he goes to Zamzam, to drink from it and pour from it on his head.

"Zamzam is like food, and is like a medicine for illness."

"Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for."

Then he goes to touch the black stone if possible, or point at it.

Al Sa'i between Safa And Marwa...

Then he goes to As Safa and recites:

Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah . So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing

He recites these Ayat in that position only; in the beginning of Al Sa'i.

He says I start with what Allah started with, then goes up the Safa till he sees Al Ka'ba, he turns his face towards Al Ka'ba, raises his hands, praise Allah and makes doaa (supplication), the prophet used to stand on the Safa saying Takbeer three times, and three times the following:

"None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Alone Who has no partners, to Him belongs Dominion and to Him belong all the Praises."

"There's no God but Allah, fulfilled his promise and caused victory to his slave and defeated Al Ahzab (the parties) alone."

This is sunna, then he says whatever doaa (supplication) he wants, and also whatever Zikr he wants.. Then walks to Al Marwa till he reaches the green column, men only increases their speed, if possible, without causing any harm, then he goes to Al Marwa, he mounts it, turns towards the Qibla, raises his hands and

praises Allah and makes doaa (supplication), the prophet used to stand on the Safa saying Takbeer three times, and three times the following
Then he walks from Al Marwa to As Safa, increases his speed by the green column, then walks..
Mounting As Safa and Al Marwa, increasing the speed are sunna, and not duty.. The Sa'i is seven rounds begins from As Safa and ends at Al Marwa.

Shaving..
After that he ends his Ihram by shaving or shortening his hair if he is a man, shaving is better, if he is not performing Al Tamattu; as his hair wouldn't be able to grow, so shortening is better in this case, and he completes shaving after performing Hajj. It is a sunna to start with the right side, and to shorten all his hair, but women only cut a very small part of their hair.

By these things the Umrah is ended, and anyone could wear whatever they want, put perfumes, have sexual relations, etc…till the Tarweya day.
